When you use the App, we may collect the following types of information:

• Device Permissions: To provide full functionality, the App needs to access your device’s microphone, speaker, camera, flashlight, and photo album (for scanning function). We will only use these permissions after you explicitly grant them, and will not access any hardware or data without your consent.

2. How We Use the Information

The information we collect will be used for the following purposes:

• Provide and Improve Services: We use your microphone, speaker, camera, flashlight and other hardware features to enhance your experience with AuraScan and help you locate your phone using sound; the photo album access permission is solely used to upload images required for the scanning function, and we will only obtain the specific photos you actively select and upload.
• Performance Optimization: By collecting device permission usage information (without involving personal sensitive data), we can help improve the App's performance and user experience.
• Permission Requests: We will request necessary permissions (such as microphone, camera, photo album, etc.) to ensure the normal operation of the App's core functions.

3. Permission Management

• Microphone: Used to capture clap sound signals to trigger the phone's sound output.
• Speaker: Used to play sounds to help you find your phone.
• Camera: Used to detect if your phone is in your pocket (pocket anti-theft mode) and assist in scanning functions.
• Photo Album: Exclusively for uploading images required for the scanning function. The App will not arbitrarily browse, access, or collect other photos in your album. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device settings, which will only affect the scanning function that requires image uploads and will not impact other core functions of the App.

4. Information Protection

We take reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All permission-related data (including photo album access records) is encrypted to ensure data security.

5. Data Storage Period

We will only store your permission usage records and relevant data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. After the storage period expires (generally 90 days after you last use the App, or when the specific service purpose is completed), we will automatically delete or anonymize your data to ensure it can no longer identify you.

6. User's Right to Delete Information

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information and related data stored by the App at any time. To exercise this right, you can contact us via the email provided in the "Contact Us" section. We will verify your identity within 15 working days and complete the data deletion process. After deletion, the data will not be recoverable (except as required by law to retain relevant records).
