User Agreement

Welcome to AuraScan!

Before using the App, please read and agree to this User Agreement. By using AuraScan, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

1. User Permissions

To use the full functionality of the App, you need to grant us the following permissions (all permissions are obtained with your explicit consent, and you have the right to revoke the permissions through the device settings at any time):

• Microphone: Used to capture clap sounds and trigger the sound output.
• Speaker: Used to play sounds to help you find your phone.
• Camera and Flashlight: If you choose to enable, the camera and flashlight can provide additional assistive features for phone location and scanning functions.
• Photo Album: Used to upload images required for the scanning function. The App will only access the photos you actively select and upload, and will not arbitrarily access or collect other photos in your album without your permission.

2. User Responsibilities

By using the AuraScan app, you agree to:

• Comply with the Law: You shall not use the App for any illegal activities.
• Authorized Use: You must ensure that all device permissions are legally authorized, and you have the right to grant these permissions to the App.
• Safe Use: You shall not use the App in any way that could harm other users or the security of the device.

3. Service Limitations

• Software Updates: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the App at any time without prior notice.
• Third-Party Responsibility: The App may contain third-party services or links, but we are not responsible for the content or actions of these third parties.

4. Intellectual Property

The AuraScan app and all related content (including but not limited to icons, UI design, code, text, and sound effects) are owned by us or relevant rights holders and are protected by intellectual property laws.

5. Disclaimer

• App Functionality: The App is provided as-is based on current technology, and we do not guarantee that it will work perfectly on all devices.
• Legal Responsibility: We are not liable for any direct or indirect losses resulting from the use of the App.

6. Agreement Changes

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. The updated agreement will be published within the App and become effective. By continuing to use the App, you agree to the updated Agreement.
